A patisserie institute inside a ‘chocolate’ hotel
Suborno Bose, chairman of IIHM, and Avijit Ghosh, director of the newly-launched IIPC
IIPC — the international institute of hotel management’s
(IIHM) pastry and culinary school, launched in Bengaluru on February 19, 2022.
ET HospitalityWorld spoke with Suborno Bose, chairman and chief mentor of IIHM
and Avijit Ghosh, pastry chef extraordinaire and the head of the new institute
on their plans.
The institute is set within a hotel (formerly the Orange
Tree Hotel) which has been completely renovated by the IIPC, to have one floor
of teaching facilities and 25 rooms, which have been given a chocolate theme —
it’s called the Chocolat Hotel — where both students and guests can stay, Bose
told us on the facilities available.
